Zeppelin is a handsome young dog sired by Captain out of Aja bred by Cindy Well of Tji-Wara Ridgebacks in Kansas. Selectively shown, Zeppelin made quick work of his conformation championship attaining both majors for 10 points including a Best of Breed win over specials for a major. To finish his American Championship just before turning 18 months old in a big way, Zeppelin won Best of Breed at the Michigan Hound Association Specialty in July, 2013 over an entry of 36, including 11 specials.
He has consistently performed well in the ring with his type, animated personality and ground covering gait. Zeppelin enjoys lure-coursing and training in obedience. He has a fun loving, easy going temperament, and is a laid-back dog. He is gentle and has never met a stranger.
Ridgeback Breeder-Judge Mr. Michael Teeling commented that Zeppelin "was a nice mover with a headpiece he admired" when he gave him the Best of Opposite in Puppy Sweeps win.
Zeppelin lives in Ohio with his owners, Lauren and Matt where he sleeps on the couch or in bed and is Lauren's constant companion. He is co-owned by Zareba and Cindy Well.
Zeppelin is available at stud for live breeding or via fresh or frozen semen to approved bitches. He has produced 2 litters.
The first litter of 10 puppies was with FC Kopera's Jenga Factor, FCh, SC, "Jenga".
Zeppelin's second litter of 8 puppies is out of Ch. Umtali's Sweet As Flowers by Mutare, "Urple".
