Zareba's Extended Family
Photos of dogs who don't necessarily live with us but who are bred by us. They are show dogs who are co-owned by us or family companions enjoying life on the couch, with their dog friends, owners, families, and who ever stops by.

Leia: GCh. Zareba Padme's Rebel Princess of Red Earth, JC, HIC
Leia lives in Yukon, Oklahoma with Densi Rushing of Red Earth Ridgebacks where she enjoys lure-coursing. Leia is a littermate to Chenesu; a Jack x Kira puppy. She is owned by Densi Rushing of Red Earth RR's and Tea Cooper. Quoting Densi, "Leia is every bit the princess. She is beautiful, fearless and graceful....she also likes to bite pants, shirttails, and fingers, but she's getting better. She's confident, although she is quick to investigate strange noises, and she's already joining the others in letting us know the doorbell just rang."

Chenesu: GCh. Zareba's Runako Chenesu by Paka
Chenesu lives with Amy and another Ridgeback named Beatrice. Chenesu has been a multiple group placer and is a natural showman in the ring. Chenesu is a Jack x Kira puppy hitting the ring owned Amy Rock of Dallas, TX. His first show he won his puppy class at the TVRRCOT Regional in Texas. Chenesu's name "Runako Chenesu" means handsome protector in Swahili. What an appropriate name for this handsome young boy. Chenesu was out showing and in no time got a GROUP 4 from the puppy classes! Chenesu already has been on a roll with Amy.

Flint: Tji-Wara's Prairie Sunrise by Zareba, JC, HIC, CGC
Flint is loved and owned by Heather and Mike and their 3 kids. He is incredibly sweet, great with the kids and a very good cuddler. He really enjoys lure-coursing and is part of the way toward his ASFA Field Championship. Click the photo below to see more of Flint.

Jack: Of Afrikka Spring Valley Motif for Zareba, JC, CGC
Jack lives in Indiana with Laura and Joseph where he lives a life that any dog would envy. Avid hikers, Laura and Joseph always have Jack by their side whether it be outdoors, in bed or on the couch. Jack loves to play a game of chase with his favorite squeaky fox toy. He's quite social and enjoys doggie day care where he has made dog friends.

Porky: Zareba's Sunrise Over Calabash
Porky is owned by Laura and Casey in Ohio and has a playmate, Daisy. She is a beautiful dark red wheaten, ridgeless girl and a full sister to Bess out of Buzz x Pasia. Porky was always the bigger of the two sisters, hence the same. Somehow the name stuck with Laura and Casey too- especially after they saw how she can eat! Porky has been through basic obedience class where she was a star puppy. She is calm and confident and is obviously a good cuddle partner.

Miles: Zareba Abigail's Choice, SC
Miles is a male out of Bruiser and Kira and loves to lure-course. He lives in Oklahoma with his family and is owned by Melinda Redick.
